UA&P, UGR celebrate Spanish heritage and academic exchange
The University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P) and the University of Granada (UGR) in Spain participated in a faculty and staff exchange under the Erasmus+ program. This collaboration aims to foster cultural exchange and professional development between the two institutions.
As part of the exchange, Dr. Rocio Cruz and Dr. Elena Ortez from UGR's Department of Spanish Language led a two-day seminar titled "Hola! Unveiling Spanish Heritage" on July 9-10, 2025. The seminar provided an in-depth look into the Spanish language and culture, covering topics such as cinema, festivals, sports, cuisine, and specifically, the traditions of Andalusia.

Meanwhile, Ms. Marielle Uy-Abella of UA&P's Public and International Affairs Office traveled to Spain to take part in the "Intercultural Insights Week 2025: Connecting Cultures in the Academic Environment" hosted by the University of Granada from July 7-11, 2025. The event served as a platform to enhance skills, share best practices, and strengthen international cooperation on interculturality within academic settings.
