UA&P students join Dongguk University’s summer school
University of Asia and the Pacific (UA&P) students are currently immersed in the rich academic and cultural experience offered by Dongguk University in Seoul through its Dongguk International Summer School (DISS). The program, running in two distinct sessions, offers participants the opportunity to earn academic credits while exploring various facets of Korean society.
The first session of DISS, held from June 23 to July 4, 2025, saw the participation of UA&P students Pauline Margaret Vivar (SLG), Alyssa Grace Diaz (SLG), and Yoela Leonor (SLG).
Currently underway, the second session, from July 7 to July 18, 2025, includes UA&P attendees Stacey Ang (SMN), Mae Magdalene Marajas (SLG), Althea Sandriana Sim (SLG), Mary Norvilex Porte (SMN), Iñaki Miguel Gutierrez (SLG), Beatrice Nicole Yasaña (SCM), and Rodelyn de Borja (SMN).
Dongguk University, highly regarded for its programs in Korean Media, Culture, Business, Humanities, and Social Sciences, provides a comprehensive curriculum for both Korean and international students. Beyond classroom learning, the DISS program is enhanced by a special study tour designed to offer participants a deeper understanding of Korea's historical and social landscape.
