Arts faculty attend “Heritage, Art of Living and Tourism" summer school in France
Two faculty members from the Department of Arts of the College of Arts and Sciences participated in the “Heritage, Art of Living and Tourism" Summer School program in Angers, France, from June 30 to July 11, 2025.
Department of Arts Officer in Charge Ms. Andrea Abulencia and Arts instructor Mr. Arthur Vito Cruz attended in-class sessions and joined the various tours of the Angers and Loire Valley region, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The summer school, offered by ESTHUA, National Institute of Tourism – INNTO France, and IRCOM School of Humanities & Management, “aims to provide a concrete and relevant response to the challenges of future tourism: valuing heritage, enhancing green tourism and developing teamwork with local partners.”
