Schedule of concessionaire services

The University Canteen will be open until December 22 (Friday) and will resume operations on January 4. The food stalls at the University Student Commons will be closed starting December 11 (Monday) and will resume operations on January 15, 2024. 

LIB semestral break schedule

The University Library’s business operations during the semestral and Christmas break from December 11, 2023, to January 13, 2024, are as follows:

The Library will be closed on December 13 (Wednesday) to give way to the annual Christmas get-together of the Library team.

Ask ViRA for real-time virtual reference assistance from Monday to Saturday.

Use of whiteboard markers

AFM would like to remind faculty members and students to use whiteboard markers for class activities or student org meetings held inside the classroom. 

New RFID parallel testing

There will be parallel testing for our new RFID system starting December 11, 2023, until January 20, 2024, at the following gates: Pearl Drive, PSB, and DCB. 

During this period, please be aware of the following:

• Additional tapping stations will be installed to test the new RFID system.
• The existing system and the new RFID system will be simultaneously operational.

Students and employees are encouraged to do the following to help with the parallel testing:

• When entering or leaving the campus, use both the new and the old tapping stations.
• If you encounter errors or issues, or would like to provide suggestions or feedback, please inform our onsite guards or message [email protected].

For those who have not gone through the RFID data capture, you may proceed to the ICT Office from Mondays through Fridays, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm.

The parallel testing will help the University implement a streamlined and more efficient RFID system.
